Photo11 copy copy copy copy1st Stanstead Abbotts and St Margaret's Scout Group were announced as the winners of the Ware & District Scouts’ Peter Geer Competition for 2015-16 for the fifth year in a row, during Ware’s huge Scouts' and Guides' St George’s Day Parade.

Paul Stretch campingJonathan Trower, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire presented our Group Scout Leader Paul Stretch with a High Sheriff’s "Personal Award" at the recent High Sheriff's Awards Ceremony to recognise what he said is "the outstanding contribution which Scouting makes to Hertfordshire" and to celebrate Paul and the "great team" of volunteers at his local Scout Group.

Scouts Dartmoor March March Adventure

Photo66A party of 9 Scouts, 2 Explorer Scouts and 4 Leaders, journeyed across London to Devon at the weekend to take part in the the hugely popular 'March March' run by our Scouting friends in South Brent. For many of the Scouts this was their first March March, as it was for our two newest Assistant Scout Troop Leaders Helena and Fiona, however with everyone looking out for each other, fantastic weather, a stunning location, plus lots of friendly and enthusiastic Scouts and Leaders and a really well organised weekend, everyone had a fantastic time. Jaguar Pack's night at Roller City

Photo21 copyThe girls and boys in our Jaguar Pack travelled over to Welwyn Garden City for an action packed roller skating evening at Roller City.

For some it was another "first", but with the help and encouragement of their friends, Leaders and Young Leaders everyone was soon having a great time, skating, dancing and even skating under the limbo pole! Well done Jaguar Pack! More pics HERE
